“IT IS FINISHED!”
As Jesus hung on the cross, He uttered these words that finished the mighty plan of God, allowing all who will come to Jesus the opportunity for the forgiveness of their sins and eternal life in Heaven. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” NASB
After getting back from our ministry/family trip in February, two days later I had the privilege of preaching at the First Mennonite Church in Aberdeen, Idaho, and two weeks later at the Jackson Bible Church in Jackson, Wyoming. In between those two weeks, the Lord led us to start ministering to a man in a county jail. We have been able to share with him as often as we can, and he has been a blessing to us. We have been able to get him some Bibles, and he is spending a lot of time reading through them. We are the only ones able to visit him in person (through thick glass) because of my clergy status. We thank you ALL, near and far, for reading our last post! Your interest is a blessing to us, and we appreciate everyone, even those we are not in contact with in other ways!
We realized in our post that we did not share anything about what the new ministry is that God has us doing since January 1, 2019. After ministering at Old Faithful Christian Ranch for 20+ years as the Director and then as Executive Director in Island Park, ID (40 minutes from Yellowstone National Park), I felt the leading of the Lord to minister in a new way. So, the Lord led us to the ministry of ‘Be One Together’ www.beonetogether.com. This wonderful ministry accepted us as missionaries under their oversight to minister as God leads, which brings us to this next update.
Greetings From Perry and Sandy! We are finally trying to let everyone know what our Lord has us doing so far this year. If you are friends with us on Facebook, you may have read this update already, so please feel free to delete this email, or print it out and put it in the bottom of a bird cage!
Thank you for your love and support for us!
Are Perry and Sandy still alive in Idaho?
As many of you know, we don’t post much on Facebook. The main reason is that we only spend as much time on our laptops as needed. Sandy and I are normally running from one place to another, ministering for our Lord and Savior. Unfortunately, this means that all of you who faithfully share in this ministry that God has given to us are only updated twice a year by our winter and spring newsletters. We are hoping to start updating you, through Facebook and emails a little more, when we can sit down. 😃 So, here we go!
