PRAYER — The next few months
I’d love to invite you to pray with me specifically through this season.
There is a lot of genuinely good work and good life happening – but there is also a LOT happening.
The bigger picture:
Now and Nov 18, designing the remaining TeamWorks assignments for our Ukrainian teams and creating the new material for Onsite 2.
Nov 20–29 is Onsite 2 in Ukraine.
At the same time, we’re pulling together all the details for our 2027 USA stay. In January, we’ll relocate to the US for about 6½ months.
Our grandbaby will be arriving in December!!! (Ezekiel & Hannah) Pray for mama and baby to remain healthy and stable.
Makayla starts her *LAST semester of university!!!
Zoey is in her senior year of high school!
And between now and then… there’s a fairly full calendar of travel, people and work. 😅
Would you pray for:
😴 Sleep
That my body would relearn how to deeply rest and that sleep would become less elusive. I’m already feeling some health repercussions from the ongoing lack of good sleep.
🧠 A settled nervous system
That my body and mind would come out of this constant “we have things to do!” mode. That I would experience the reality that I am safe, held and don’t have to carry everything at once.
🛑 Wisdom + boundaries
That I would know what is mine to do, what can wait, and what I need to release or say no to ; even when everything feels important.
💪🏼 Strength without striving
That I would have the strength I need for the work in front of me without relying on adrenaline, urgency or sheer determination.
🌿 Presence
That I would actually live the days I’m in rather than constantly mentally jumping ahead to the next thing on the calendar.
❤️ Joy
That I wouldn’t simply survive a very full season. That I would notice the beauty, receive the gifts, laugh a lot and enjoy the people God has put around me.
🙏🏼 Rootedness
More than anything, that I would remain rooted in Jesus through all of this; receiving His presence and strength rather than trying to manufacture my own.
And perhaps, if you’re feeling particularly bold, you can pray that my cortisol would finally receive the memo:
We are not being chased by a bear. 😂
