From the notes of Ed and Gerry…
Fall is here and the changing leaves are beautiful. Bible Clubs have started with a lot of interest from kids and families. Gerry is participating with 3 CEF (Child Evangelism Fellowship) Good News Clubs in the area. Two of these clubs are in local schools and one is in an apartment complex.
Involvement in resource centers is continuing on a weekly basis. These are great places to strengthen connections made in the community. One afternoon “Maria” came in. Gerry had known her from a church connection a few years back.
How relieved “Maria” seemed as she explained her needs. She was struggling with many things and needed a listening ear. Gerry asked if she could pray for “Maria” and the response was “yes, please”. They have been getting together for coffee weekly and a practical Bible Study.
