RESOURCE CENTERS
As “Ana” came into the room from outside she looked very sad. What was she going to do? Her husband had died suddenly the month before and he had taken care of all the bills of the house. She had 3 little children and they were hungry. She had so many needs she felt very overwhelmed. We sat and talked as she poured out her heart of desperation. I listened and shared how God could comfort and be with her and we prayed. I promised to visit her. Many experiences are shared and opportunities given as I volunteer at resource centers. What a great privilege to walk along side people.
GOOD NEWS CLUBS
This school year I am participating in 3 CEF (Child Evangelism Fellowship) Good News Clubs in the area. Two of these are in public schools and one in an apartment complex. What a privilege to be involved in children’s lives in this way. They will come to an end at the end of April.
