Family Update

Many of you remember that my mom went to be with the Lord on April 24th. Julie and I flew back to check on my dad, connect with him and see how we could assist. Dad is doing really well considering the loss of his bride for 60+ years. He continues to deal with the grief process but is connected well with care givers in the local area as well as several friends that check on him. God is meeting his needs and strengthening him each day. We chat regularly and he is writing letters to family and friends weekly. What a good GOD we have.

The rest of our family are doing well. This August, Lynden turns 1…wow…how did that happen so fast. Garrett will be 14 in October and growing and his brother, Jaxon, will turn 9 in September…WOW…how does this happen as I remain the same age??? LOL!

Ministry Update

Ministry is continuing and we have been enjoying the times together at the Rejuvenation Ministry Center. Teaching through the Gospel of Mark on Sunday nights and we will end either this weekend or next. What a rich and powerful book to study and teach! Applications galore as we explore it together. Many of our families are traveling more as restrictions locally are starting to loosen up. However, we still have dynamic times together each week. Both women’s and men’s Bible studies will resume this fall due to so many traveling and yet we are both very committed to discipling those that the Lord brings into our lives and ministry for His glory.

We are thankful that the Lord has brought several new families into the RMC as well as this Friday night the 16th we have our first RMC Family Night since February 2021. With the severe lockdowns imposed being lifted a little, we had to stop those times monthly of being together for potlucks and either game night, movie night or craft night. They are and have been a great way to be together and to live life as a family and body. Can’t wait!!

Country Update

Some of you may know, this September, the chancellor will be stepping down and not up for re-election. That means that the seven current political parties are scrambling during this time to gain votes and draw voters to their side. This election is a critical one for the entire country as well as for the impact of the EU. Just as with all countries elections, we are asking God to have His hand in it and that He would move as He knows best.

Also, pray currently as a number of towns just north and west of us have been hit with serious and massive flooding that hasn’t occurred since 1999. Currently at the writing of this email, seven are known dead and over 50 are unaccounted for. Also, the heavy rains will continue for the next 24 hours or more. Pray for those that are grieving their loss of family, unknown status of family members, rescue workers and all involved. We live about an hour away from the closest town and are in no danger at this time.

Thank You

We want to personally thank each and everyone of you for your faithful prayers on our behalf. We know you are praying and caring and truly are thankful for you! Also, thanks for praying for my dad, Paul, as he continues to adjust and process everything. Thanks for remembering to pray for the RMC and its ministry and families. We still have RMC family that weekly watch online that are stationed all over the globe and stay in contact with them. Keep all of the RMC families in your prayers and THANK YOU for doing that. And finally, thanks for all of you that are faithful in giving financially to the ministry. Whether monthly, through special gifts and also through care packages. WE ARE TRULY THANKFUL for EACH OF YOU!

God bless and keep you all!
