Greetings to all,
The reason I am sending out this short update is that, as of October 31st I (Perry), had my right knee replaced and at this moment I am still recovering. This means that our normal end of the year newsletter will not be sent out until this spring after we get back from our annual Mexico Mission Trip.
Each year we are so overwhelmed by everyone’s love and support for us as we minister for our Lord here in Idaho and wherever He leads Sandy and I. You all keep us going year after year! Thank you so much!
So, here is a short recap of 2023:
Preached –
At six different churches a total of seven different times.
Funeral –
I officiated two funerals and we had the chance to comfort the families.
Billy Graham Ministry –
We were both two of the many Supervisors for the Will Graham Evangelistic Crusade that was held in Idaho Falls.
Sr. Ministry –
We minister to a number of senior citizens in this area.
Women’s Ministry –
Sandy ministers to many women in our area.
Physical Projects –
The Wood project ( building a tiny house for a missionary serving at Old Faithful Christian Ranch whose’ s father passed away) finally was finished the end of October. (This past year May – Oct.)
Installed a new septic system for a retired missionary couple.
We were part of the Annual Mexico mission trip with Net Menders ministry. (1/26 – 2/15)
OFCR Ministry –
We served on staff at Old Faithful Christian Ranch for two weeks this past summer.
Prison Ministry –
We have been ministering to a friend in Federal prisoner in California through phone calls and text messages. This year we also had the pleasure to go and visit him in person for a day.
Be One Together –
In October we were asked to become one of the Liaison couples of the ministry that we are part of, Be One Together. This means that we will help to care for, support, encourage, pray for, and visit with (by zoom or in person) seven missionary couples / individuals that are serving our Lord across the United States. For the PA churches that are receiving this update, one of the missionary couples we are Liaison’s for are Greg and Jackie Stenson.
This is just a quick update for now. As I said before in this email, we will be sending out a more in-depth newsletter this spring. Thanks again for being such a big part of the ministry that God has called us to!
