Why are we so slow in getting this done?
Well…after about a year and a half, we finally stopped long enough to send out another newsletter. 🙂 As we have said so, so many times before, “We are the worst at keeping you wonderful, faithful supporters and prayer warriors informed on what our God is doing through us, year after year.” As some have heard us say, “We are busier now than when we were ministering at Old Faithful Christian Ranch!” So, it is hard to stop and spend about two weeks in the office putting together each newsletter. But we feel it is really important to keep in touch with you all and update you on at least some of the things God has us doing for Him. If we shared everything, this newsletter would be many more pages, cost a lot to mail, and no one would take the time to read the whole thing. 🙂 So, slow we are! But, we are so grateful that our Lord is not slow about His promise. 2 Peter 3:9 says: The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. (NASB) I am always so grateful that God is a patient God! For there are so many more people that need to hear about Jesus and accept Him as their Lord and Savior! Here in Idaho is no different than where you are reading this newsletter, as many people are living for themselves and not for God. Where would we be, who are believers in Jesus Christ, if God would have chosen to send Jesus back, to gather up His believers, before we gave Him our lives? So, we all have busy schedules, especially during this time of year. But, we must remember that the time is short for His return. Let us spend more of our busy schedules sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ to the ones who have not said “YES” to Jesus yet.
