Perry and Sandy Rotenberger serve in Idaho (and wherever the Lord sends them)
After being on missionary support for almost 23 years (almost 3 years under Be One Together), I am reminded so many times how important it is to have others partnering with us so we can freely serve our Lord without being concerned about our financial needs. On behalf of all the missionaries of Be One Together, I would like to thank everyone that has been, or is thinking about, supporting missionaries and/or this overall ministry.
I would like to share just 1 of the many ministry opportunities that affirms the importance of support for us. This past summer, we already had other ministry responsibilities going on when we heard about a need at a small church over an hour away that was busy putting together the details for their summer Vacation Bible School. We were not planning to help with this outreach, but we found out that the pastor’s son was badly injured in an accident involving a horse. He was in the hospital in another state, and in the beginning, close to death. The pastor and his wife were working on planning the VBS while tag teaming the care of their son. When finding out about their desire to have this outreach, but also their need to be with their son, we felt the leading of our Lord to help in whatever way that we could. Because of full-time support, we were able to help minister to a wonderful group of youth, sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ to many open hearts. We were blessed to be able to drive the van to transport kids from another town, Sandy was one of the leaders, and I was the Bible teacher. By the end of the VBS, many youth shared their love for Jesus, the pastor’s son was healing from his injuries, and we had the great chance to minister alongside another loving group of believers.
Thank you, again, for your love and support of us and the other missionaries serving under Be One Together.
God’s blessings to you all,
Perry and Sandy Rotenberger
