There is a joy when God’s Word is presented faithfully. There is double joy when your son is the one doing it.

Our culture tells us emotions are everything. “Do what you feel”, “Follow your heart’,” “You be You” are messages we are inundated with- all centering around our feelings.
Anger, anxiety, loneliness, depression, jealousy are big feelings we need to learn about from a Biblical perspective. We don’t just struggle with one emotion- but many. God created us in His image- and we were created emotional beings.
God has a purpose for emotions, and we see how Jesus modeled different emotions perfectly. When we engage our emotions in the way God intended, we flourish, both in our relationships as well as in our own thinking towards ourselves.
