Pray for a New Sister in Christ- one of Rachel’s former counselee’s contacted us this past week. Her sister in law is in a rehab facility for poor health issues and was interested in a visit from Pastor Curtis. Curtis was able to go and shared the Gospel. “L” received Christ as Savior that day. He was able to give her a Bible and a Bible Study booklet. Please be praying for her as she grows in the Lord and as we follow up with her in the months to come.
Pray for Continued Growth in the lives of 4 counselees- Rachel has been counseling 4 women over the past 3 months. God is working and changing all the lives she is meeting with. The parents of a teenage girl Rachel has been working with for 3 months now are greatly encouraged by the emotional changes and growth they see in their 17 year old daughter.
Pray for our Kids-
- Julia, our foreign exchange student, will be returning home to Spain on May 28th. We have a very short time left with her. Our youth pastor’s wife is hoping to meet with her over the next few weeks in a one-on-one Bible study time. Pray Julia will develop real faith, and not just “religion.”
- Noah, soon to be 17, is finishing up his Junior Year. He will be working with CEF Christian Youth in Action this summer as a paid Summer Missionary. He is beginning to look at colleges. Please be praying for God’s direction in Noah’s life as he begins to make plans for his future.
- Hannah, 15 years old, is finishing her Freshman Year. She will also be working with CEF Christian Youth in Action this summer as a paid Summer missionary. She is excited to work with kids again and loves sharing the love of Christ with them
Pray for Healing- Rachel’s surgery in March on her right elbow/wrist was successful and she’s at 95% of where she needs to be. She goes in for the left elbow/wrist for the same surgery on Monday, April 15th. (She feels like she’s falling apart!) Pray for another successful surgery and for recovery. Nothing like physical issues to help us grow in dependance on the Lord!
Pray for God’s continued Provision- Please pray for God to provide for the extra medical expenses that are building up this spring.
