End of Summer, Beginning of Fall

Hannah’s trip to Antigua & Barbuda

Hannah had a wonderful and transformative 2 weeks serving the Lord in Antigua and Barbuda. Their team spent the first week training local teenagers in how to do 5 day Bible Clubs. Our American team held a 1-day Bible Club on the Island of Barbuda on Saturday. The second week the teams (of both American and Antiguan teens) got to teach 2 Bible Clubs on the Island of Antigua.

She had a lot of “mission-field” experiences including eating new foods, piling too many people into a 12 passenger van, meeting a trantula, and surviving a minor injury.

Praise to the Lord for all the work the team was able to accomplish in those 2 weeks and the way that He used it in her life to see the need of missions overseas.

Thank you to all who supported her this summer through her CYIA Indiana Bible Club ministry as well as to those who supported her missions trip to Antigua!

Noah began classes at The Master’s University Sept. 2nd!

We were able to drive Noah off to California and The Master’s University. On the way we were able to make stops in CO and UT to see family and dropped him off on Aug. 23rd. He started classes yesterday, Sept. 2nd and is excited for this new chapter of life.

Specific ways to be praying for Noah:

1) He is taking 6 classes this semester and will also be participating in the pep band.

2) He needs to find a part-time job that will work with his class schedule so he can cover next semester’s tuition expenses.

3) He has been visiting local churches, but needs to find one that he can settle in at and serve.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Ministry Matching Grant for his tuition this year. He raised the whole $2,500 for this year!

Fall Ministry Begins!

Fall Ministry kicks off this month! Please be praying for the following:

Sept. 4th– A 7-week Ladies Bible Study will begin. Rachel will be leading 13+ ladies through a study on the book of Jude.

Sept. 10th– Awana Kickoff! Curtis will lead the Awana ministry at church. Rachel will continue teaching our preschoolers (Cubbies). Hannah will move up into helping with the Middle School Ministry as part of the Youth Group ministry team.

Sept. 14th– Back to Church Sunday. This is a time when we encourage New Hope Baptist Attendees to invite people to church. Pray specifically that people will respond to the Gospel message preached that day. Pray that people who don’t regularly attend church will begin attending and find Christ.

Future prayer needs:

Nov. 3rd– Rachel will be having a hysterectomy surgery. Pray this will resolve some of the issues she’s been struggling with. There will be a 6-week recovery.

Summer 2026– The church is planning on taking a missions trip to Peru to help some of the missionaries we support there. The Rhoadarmer family is planning on being a part of this. Please be praying as Curtis works out the details of this trip.

Finances

Our current support level for this year is $6,376 less than where we were at this time last year (we are only at 54% of our yearly budget). Please be praying that God would raise the funds we need in order to continue to do the various ministries God has called us to!
