25 years ago, through a ministry outreach we met the Hernandez family. Hortencia has hosted Bible Clubs & sent her children to Summer Bible Camp.
This summer Hortencia’s sister, Juventina, came to live with the family. Her son, Chuy (age 20) has lived with Hortencia & has been ill with hospitalizations. This is very hard for the whole family and especially for his mom, Juventina, as she contemplates losing him. Juventina is a single mom and Chuy is her only child.
She is a believer and Gerry meets with her to study God’s Word and pray together.
