Celebrating what God is Doing!

Celebrating 10 years

10 years ago God called the Rhoadarmer family to ministry at New Hope Baptist Church. God has done incredible things the past 10 years. We praise God for the work He has done in revitalizing this church over the past 10 years. Countless people have been reached with the Gospel and God continues to use us in a number of ways to evangelize the lost and disciple believers of all ages.

Biblical Counseling Continues

We are currently in the middle of many Biblical Counseling Cases.

  • Pray for a military couple who are newly married. We will be meeting with them monthly to help them reconnect with God and build a marriage based on God’s word. Both come from very broken backgrounds and have few, if any, Godly models of marriage in their lives.
  • Pray for an older couple we are meeting with for pre-marital counseling. Both are widowed and are seeking God’s help to do marriage differently this time around. This dear couple comes from one of our former ministries and we enjoy ministering to them in this way.
  • Curtis begins counseling soon with a new individual who is struggling with a pornography addiction. He is a new believer. Pray for freedom and continued growth in his relationship with Christ.
  • Rachel is currently counseling one of our former “camp kids.” It is a joy to reconnect and continue discipling someone she has known for over 20 years.
  • Rachel meets with two women regularly who are also involved in ministry/ married to a pastor. Please be praying as she counsels, disciples, and encourages them.

Update on the kids:

  • We got to see Noah for 3 weeks at Christmas time. It was wonderful to have him home! He is studying very hard and is doing well at The Master’s University. He was just accepted for the IBEX program, which means he’ll be in Israel for his Spring 2027 semester. There is an option for friends and family to go visit for a week while he’s there….. we’d love to go if God provides the extra $ for us.
  • Hannah has had a busy Junior Year and is doing well. We will take her on her first college visit over Spring break to Word Of Life Bible Institute in upstate New York. Noah is trying to convince her to come out to TMU with him. Please be praying for wisdom for her this coming year as she figures out where God wants her next. Please also pray for her as she considers some different summer ministry opportunities.
