In our house church, we have been walking slowly through the book of Ephesians — chapter by chapter, verse by verse. The past two Sundays we spent time in chapter 6, reflecting on what Paul truly meant by spiritual warfare.
We talked about the armor of God not simply as protection, but as the very character of God Himself –
His truth.
His righteousness.
His peace.
His faithfulness.
Using a framework called “Fruit to Root – Root to Fruit,” we explored what lies we may be believing – about ourselves, about others, even about God.
As those surfaced, we practiced admitting them honestly, repenting together, and intentionally putting on the truth of who God is.
As we replace lies with His truth, something shifts.
We begin to see ourselves differently.
We begin to see one another differently.
We stand together in prayer — not isolated, but unified.
Below is a glimpse of the Portuguese resource now in our House Churches hands.
* The orginal idea and concept is from “Gospel Fluency” by Jeff Vanderstelt*

The following Monday people had reached out asking for more information on the basic tool Fruit to Root- Root to Fruit. Within 24 hours, I was able to create a Portuguese version using a translation app and Canva and spring boarding off the original image from Gospel Fluency. This allowed everyone to have a tool in their own heart language.
Technology can be intimidating, and it certainly has its challenges. But this week we saw it serve eternal purposes — placing Gospel-centered tools directly into hungry hands.

Your prayers and partnership allow Greg and I to partner with what God is doing here in Portugal. May we continue to be transformed by the renewing of our minds as we witness God creating Gospel communities here in the North of Portugal.
