Serving Him in Germany and supporting missions around the world,
Scott (for Heather, Stanley, Holly, Stuart, and Samuel)

Hello Friends and Family,

At BFA we call this season the “Ahh”… and then after spring break comes the “choo!” Right now, everything is building toward a rapid acceleration to the end of the school year. The first semester wrapped up at the end of January, and we’re already three weeks into the second. Basketball championships just finished (boys took 2nd and girls 4th!), and track season begins in six days.

Life, as usual, feels like it’s moving in a thousand different directions. We currently have a foster baby, Lio. He was born six weeks premature and came into our home at just 12 days old on December 30. He has now been with us almost seven weeks. We are so grateful for the opportunity to love and care for him, and the kids absolutely adore him (except when he’s crying!). Heather and I are pretty tired—nights are long, and we’re up often—but we are thankful.

We don’t know what Lio’s future holds. Reunification with his mom seems unlikely, and we are praying that God would provide a loving, stable home for him. Please pray for strength and endurance for us as we care for him and our kids well. Pray especially for Heather, as the legal appointments and meetings can be difficult and time-consuming.
