From the notes of Ed and Gerry…
As we move into fall we first want to look back on some highlights of this summer…
Gerry enjoys volunteering at the local food bank. She sometimes reconnects with people we have had ministry with before but lost contact with. One such family has girls in high school now and the girls came to help out. What a joy to see them. When we knew them they were a family of Dad and mom and 3 little girls and now they have grown by adding another daughter and son. Mom told Gerry we could come visit because “we (meaning all of us) were not being quarantined now.” What a joy to be in contact with them again.
