Scott for Heather, Stanley, Holly, Stuart, and Samuel
Every journey is like a mountain. The first half is the long climb up that feels like it will go on forever. Then there is the second half where you are rushing down towards the end, feeling like everything is going too fast. It seems like just yesterday we hit the halfway point of our time in Oregon, and now we are sitting here with about four months until we want to get on an airplane to head back to Germany. We feel that there isn’t enough time, there are so many things we want to do and people we want to connect with. We look back to this time last year. I had just put in my letter of resignation with Thuringia International School, we were filling out applications, applying for jobs, and pinching ourselves wondering if this is really happening. Now we are beginning the grieving process and goodbyes all over again, but we are still trusting the Lord to provide what we need so that we can get on that Airplane July 15th. Here are some of our highs, and lows, from this past month.
