Ministry looks different in the midst of a “social distance” world.
Rachel continues an online Bible Study for women through Facebook. Online Bible Studies are great during this time and so we will press on!
Church services at New Hope have been canceled in person- and we are switching gears for virtual messages and activities. There is no substitution for gathering together as a local body, but for this season we are using what tools we have available to us to continue the work of Evangelism and Discipleship.
Grief Share met this week (there are only a handful that meet) and we kept our appropriate distance. It’s crucial for this ministry to continue because people grieving in complete isolation would be rough. We’ll take this next week off- but should be able to go virtual as well in the weeks/months ahead.
Rachel’s after school homework help with a local family has ceased for this season. Please pray for the family as they try and manage E-Learning with 4 kids without her help.
Rachel met last week with a young woman who is post-abortive. She and her husband would like to meet with us to go through a Post-Abortion Study. We might just need to hold it for a little while. Pray that they wont lose interest during this time of “waiting.” Or- that we might be able to figure out how to do it a different way.
The kids are at home doing E-Learning and we are getting a lot of time together as a family.
We are thankful for a God who is ever present, who reigns over everything going on in our world today and who is the Great Provider. We are thankful for you all who are praying and continue to financially support this ministry. Please let us know how we can be praying for you!
