Be One Together in ministry is based upon the Word of God and our personal walk by faith in Jesus Christ.
We believe the Bible to be verbally inspired, inerrant in the original writings, and the only infallible and authoritative Word of God for faith and life.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in
-
- the full deity and full humanity of Christ
- in His virgin birth
- in His sinless life
- in His miracles
- in His substitutionary and atoning death through His shed blood
- in His bodily resurrection
- in His ascension to the right Hand of the Father
- in His present rule as Head of the Church
- in His personal return in power and glory
We believe man was originally created in the image of God. He sinned by disobeying God; thus, he was alienated from his Creator. That historic fall brought all mankind under divine condemnation.
We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for the salvation and forgiveness of all who are separated from God by sin and rebellion.
We believe salvation is wholly of God by grace on the basis of redemption of Jesus Christ, by the merit of His shed blood, and not on the basis of human merit or works.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life, and by whom the Church, the Body of Christ, is gifted and equipped to serve and glorify God.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they that are lost unto damnation and them that are saved unto the resurrection of eternal life.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, with equality across races, genders and classes.
We believe Christ has commanded His Church to preach the gospel and make disciples of all people.
Be One Together operates on a strongly held belief that the marriage relationship has been established by God as a solemn union between one man and one woman.
We believe the church is the bride of Christ for whom Christ will return.
