Prayer and Praise Requests
Praises:
- Praise God we arrived safely in California.
- We were given a car to drive while in the States.
- Our daughter in law is off of bed rest and seems to be doing well in the last stages of her pregnancy.
- Peggy is able to use her serving gift to help our family settle into their new house and be a grandma.
- We are breathing clean air compared to the air pollution in Kathmandu.
Please pray for:
- Cultural adjustment grace.
- Family dynamics grace.
- Health. I (Eric) have reopened an old shoulder injury and am experiencing some pain and discomfort.
- Safety
- Wisdom
- Financial provision.
- Our House of Hope Church family.

Back in California
After 40+ hours of travel, we are back in California. We helped our son and his family move into their new house outside of Fresno. Now we are awaiting the arrival of Reed, grandson number three. Peggy has been really giving it up as a servant helping our daughter in law and family settle in and deal with daily life. I celebrated my birthday with the family and am now officially a senior citizen. Peggy’s birthday is this Sunday.
We plan to stay in the USA until early September. This will allow us to avoid much of the monsoon season in Nepal when traveling to villages is almost impossible due to road conditions. We plan to spend time with our family and visit churches and loved ones.
Just as we experienced cultural adjustment in Nepal, we are experiencing some cultural adjustments coming back to the States.
