In March and April we were treated to some great learning experiences. Our youth are being exposed to so much information that is damaging and harmful. Their social networks are exposing to things they should not see. AI is writing their papers for class and manipulates their source of reality. That is why I am so happy to have the opportunity to hear teachers who are authorities in these areas.
The first conference was D-now. This is a citywide conference open to all the youth groups. There were 18 youth groups with over 380 in attendance. The conference was March 20 through the 22nd. We had main sessions at first Baptist New Orleans and completed the smaller sessions at our own churches. We had an excellent speaker who really zeroed in on what the youth today are facing. The last night two of our guys put their trust in Jesus.
