SMOKE CLOUDS LINCOLN CITY FOR A WEEK

While we were forced out of our home for a week, staying with our daughter and her family in Sherwood, others also had to leave their homes amid threats of fire. Although our building was used by some as a safe place to stay, we held no church on September 13th. We have now resumed, although some parts of our congregation still stay away because of the coronavirus. We appreciate your prayers through this pandemic, and we thank God for His protection.

Be strong and let your heart take courage, all you who hope in the LORD. Psalm 31:24

News from John and Barbara Wild
May 2020

 

 

The limitations placed on each of us resulting from the Coronavirus have us mostly at home. Each Sunday I e-mail a short printed sermon to the people in our church. Once we can begin meeting in the building again, we’ll see where we are as a church. I am preparing a get-together with the other leaders of the church to see what changes we believe God is directing. Barbara and I are both trying to make good use of our time at home, and perhaps that will change the direction of our lives somewhat. Barbara is painting, and I am writing, working on a couple of projects. We’ll see if there are any long range changes in our culture after this pandemic.
