Quarantine & end of school!!!
We were having a great year with Next Gen going into the high schools. Our greatest success has been in Bonnabel High School where some of the students come to our youth group. We have also had a lot of success at Destrahan as more students were coming to club in bringing friends. We were in the high schools the first two weeks of March and then the schools were closed. That is when the quarantine began and we closed down the programs at church also.
Now we had to figure out a way to keep in touch with the youth & continue ministering. Nate, our youth minister, decided we were still going to meet on Wednesday night but now it would be virtual where we meet online. The first 20 minutes Nate gives a message. Then we go live with all the students. We usually have a live challenge for them to participate in. It has been very successful and we have been running as many students as when we met live.
