In the spring, ministry here is finishing some things and beginning other things. School ministries have just closed, and summer ministries begin. We had a fruitful season in our school holiday programs and release time classes in Greene and Cocke counties. What a joy to take the Gospel message to many students in 9 schools. We need more volunteers next year to help with the weekly classes at Grassy Forks School and monthly classes at Nolachuckey School. We are also needing a van for the Life Wise school ministry in Cocke County and a bus driver for Greene County release time classes. We would appreciate prayers for these needs.
Now we move into our summer ministries in these same counties plus Madison County in North Carolina. We have 4 VBS ministries planned in the mountain churches and of course Smoky Mountain Day Camp in the Smoky Mountain National Park near Cosby TN. The park was closed last summer, so we met at Liberty Church in Cosby. This summer we will return to the park again. Liberty Church is directing the camp now (which was a true blessing from the Lord) but of course we still attend with our family members. This summer Nick’s son Wesley is old enough to be a camper. We are all so excited for him to be able to experience camp! Our daughters and granddaughters are all too old to be campers now, but they all love coming and helping in a variety of ways with the program. Our home will be full of mostly our family members that week for day camp.

July 13-24 Catch up here at the house and, hopefully, put up garden produce
July 27-31 Spillcorn Church of God VBS in Madison County N.C.
