P2P | Potential to Plant team is planning another trip to Ukraine/Poland border to bring supplies and bring back refugees who have family and friends here in Portugal.
Since Kevin Janzen ( who serves with P2P | Potential to Plant and House Church Vila do Conde) & Sam Cianelli (who pastors Surf Church Porto) returned from there on Wednesday, as P2P team we have praying and processing what to do next.
Due to the enormous need, Potential to Plant will be teaming up with House Church (Vila do Conde) to have Kevin lead a trip of 2-3 more vans filled with supplies back to Poland/Ukraine border. Greg Weaver will be joining as a driver.
One of our local contacts has a list of Ukrainians who have recently crossed the border and are wanting to get from Poland to friends and family here in Portugal.
A local collection centre in Vila do Conde said they would fill these vans with much-needed supplies, medicines, foods etc.
This past journey Kevin and Sam used our 9 passenger van to make the 7,000 km /4349.598 miles trip. Just to put that into perspective; it would be like driving from Los Angeles to Chicago and back.
We are thankful to God for this vehicle. Our family is able to have this van due to the generosity of many of you, that we bought for ministry one and half years ago. Thank you for your generosity that enables us to give freely for the kingdom of God.
We are looking into van rentals for this journey to give our van a rest, however, we are fully prepared to offer it up once again.
If we are able to raise funds for van rentals, fuel, & tolls we plan to head out this coming Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.
